Work
This is the section that I worked on most of the day. Revlon was reduced in size from 8 feet down to 6 feet. Then Maybelline and Cover Girl had to be moved down, which involved removing all the trays section by section and moving the backer wall. Annabelle was removed from this section of wall, allowing the 4 foot Rimmel section to be moved into there.
One the other side of the doorway, NYX was expanding from 4 feet to 6 feet. It took the place where Rimmel used to be. Elf and Marcelle were swapped, then Annabelle was put back into the last 2 feet of space. L'Oreal was the only brand of cosmetics that stayed where it was.
We were over the time allowed but that was to be expected. I worked for 9 hours, I could have stayed longer to help finish, but my knees were starting to complain. Two of the other helpers had to leave at 3 and 3:30 respectively. I worked till 6. The remaining 2 were likely there till 8 pm. Not unless they got permission to put the remaining things in the stock room and go back tomorrow morning to finish.
Of course, being in the mall, unless you go to one of the entrance doors, you don't know what the weather is like. I think there had been some rain earlier, then it changed to snow. Only a couple of cm though. The temperatures were dropping and streets were slippery when I came home. I got up the hill and into my driveway without any problems. Shortly after I came home, I looked out the window and there was a car across the street with the front end touching a tree that is growing close to the curb. I think they came down the hill and tried to turn into their driveway, but slid into the tree instead. I didn't notice a car in the driveway at that time. About 5 minutes later they were gone, and there was a car parked in the neighbor's driveway and lights were on in the house.
I have 2 days off work now. More snow in the forecast for tomorrow afternoon. I do have to go out in the morning to pick up a prescription.
