The Lock

Was such a hot hot day today that it reached 25c as I was heading in to work around 8. As I do most days, I took the picturesque route through Wisley lane to Pyrford Lock. Have been trying to capture either boats or beautiful reflections there but never quite getting the feel of it right, which shouldn't be that hard as with the pub on the corner, the barges, the water flow, the wildlife... It's all too much.

Again this morning caught what I thought were a few decent summer images of tree reflections and narrowboats but somehow they're still not quite worthy of the scene. This was the best image of the lillies.

It's was either that or a shot of Maybury Knoll.
