Glitterati

Tuesday morning arrived, cold, wet and foggy. The rain hammered onto the roads, slowing everything down, but we’d left early enough to avoid the worst of the traffic. I just had my usual half-day supervising shift, and that went smoothly. There’s a lot of talk about our next walk in two week’s time, and we made some changes to the route to accommodate several new members who will be joining us for their first hike. I spent the afternoon quietly at home until the rest of the family returned, and things became somewhat noisier.

Today’s blip… I found an odd desk toy in one of the offices, with layers of coloured glitter that floated or sank in some sort of clear mineral oil, depending on how you rotated it. I took a few close-up shots of the patterns it created and then ran them through Photoleap’s selfie generator several times to achieve this final result.
