3720. New Aldi!

There was great excitement here today as the new Aldi in Playa Blanca opened this ,morning!

It’s about a 20 minute walk from our resort but well worth making the effort as the nearest supermarket a Hyper Dino is just so expensive….

When we come next year we will walk to Aldi and get a huge shop then get a taxi back to our resort and still save a fortune plus the fresh veg is so much better!  As we self cater, we do have to be organised and I bring Simply Cook spice boxes with me every year so that all we need to buy is basic ingredients.  It works out so well as we love our food and I enjoy cooking too!

Starting to pack and realising how little space I have in my suitcase!  I’ve bought lots of presents for family plus birthday presents for later in the year and they are all very bulky!
