I used to enjoy Grapefruit. Especially at breakfast when it sharp tangy taste helped to wake one up for the day.
But alas no more. As with most people of my age I am kept alive by a selection of drugs provided free of charge by the NHS. One of these, Amlodipine, used for lowering blood pressure, clearly states that I should refrain from eating Grapefruit when taking it.
