Pond Perfection Too, Goudhurst
It was another micro trip today this time we chose Brenchley. Unfortunately, although it was a lovely village to walk through there wasn't a whole lot going on and it didn't even have a pub that we could partake of a beverage in as one had been converted to luxury self-catering (with a small cafe attached) and the other had been turned into private homes (even though the pub sign was still on show) so we got back in the car and headed to Goudhurst. We knew this also had a large duck pond so I did think I'd be able to add to my Pond Perfection series.
As I was composing my shot this woman with a striking red coat came into view so I just waited a few seconds until she was perfectly framed in the doorway - result! My extra is more experimental composition wise but I was quite pleased with its' unusualness. Luckily, the village still has the Star & Eagle hotel (the other pub has closed down) so we popped in there for some food and, of course, a pint.
