Stairwell shadows

I liked the shadows as I walked down the stairs in the office this morning.

My penultimate day done, and my final driving commute as I am going on the train tomorrow so I can go for a drink with colleagues afterwards.

All feels very strange, though there were some lovely messages from people I have worked with over the years. As I introduced myself in a meeting this afternoon I also thought that it was probably the last time I would use my maiden name. There’s another Fiona Robinson at the organisation, and so I decided it was simpler not to change my name when I got married nearly 15 years ago, though I did in the rest of my life.
