Brooks Adrenaline 24 GTS

New running shoes.  My last ones had hit ~700km and were definitely the worse for it.  

I get my shoes at Run4It where they have treadmills you can use to test out the shoes, and a video system that helps show which shoes are providing the right degree of stability.  The people there are friendly, knowledgeable and incredibly helpful.  This is the sixth pair I've bought from them and if they are as comfy as the other five (which I have no reason to doubt) I'll be very happy.

Apparently I pronate excessively in a neutral shoe, so I always get one that has a bit more structure for support.  My history is Asics, Asics, Brooks, Brooks, Asics and now Brooks again.  The other brands that I try with the right sort of support just don't fit my odd-shaped feet well.  

Hopefully I won't have to think about shoes again for another 700km or so!

So many "bricks and mortar" retail experiences are miserable these days - but Run4It have really figured out how to add value to the shopping experience.  It isn't even more expensive than buying the shoes online.  I really enjoy feeling looked after like that!
