Cracks Begin To Appear

Cracks becoming evident as the snow and ice melt on the lake, with temperatures reach mid 40s today. It was windy all day on top of that. Unseasonably warm, is this the new norm?

Only a few patches of snow along the shore remain. I hope my confidence on the ice is not misplaced, but I'm searching for new options. Today at 18mm, rather than 8mm.
