A morning of optician appointments for us both then a dental check up forJP.
We then looked at the weather forecast and saw there was much less chance of rain over in the direction of Yeovil so off we went. First stop was beautiful Montacute house and gardens- always lovely to walk in the gardens but the parklands were so wet we just looked!
Had lunch there- really yummy parsnip and apple soup.
Then went into Yeovil for a wander. Popped into a few shops to get more bits for the shoe boxes while things are still in the sale. Got some nice stencils for the younger children at 33p instead of £1.50.
