Kitchen Scientist

Back from Malaysia now and starting to recover from the dose of the flu that greeted my return.

Although my son is the one who has kitchen science equipments on his homework menu, it's my daughter who is channelling the mad scientist (albeit with poor mentor, we are learning lots of strategies should we ever repeat our semi failed experiments). My son dismissed the book that has inspired her as stupid but she couldn't wait to rework crayons into a candle and alchemise milk and vinegar into plastic (I remain unconvinced).

Tomorrow, we are going to make eggs bounce (also with the aid of the magic vinegar, which should be being used to perform miracles on a calcified toilet bowl).
