“Humph, the trouble with all these little flowers is that gathering nectar is dammed hard work”.

I noticed this bee when very briefly going into the garden today. When I was a child we had a backyard and one end of it had been taken over by the Golden Rod, which is very invasive. This reminded me of it and I was going to take a picture even before I noticed this bee hard at work.
