Hellebore.

The day dawned bright and frosty first thing.
I had been awake since 5:45am, and was watching the sky lighten through the partially open blinds.
We went out for our circular walk straight after breakfast,
There were some lovely hellebores in the club house garden of the golf course as we passed by on our way,
I took the photo,
Our usual route via the Moor Hall Estate past the hotel and then on to have a coffee at the Farmhouse Bistro.
Later in the afternoon we went round to the family’s as our eldest granddaughter is 12 years old today, We had some of the birthday cake she had designed and made by herself and it was very yummy, after which she opened her presents and cards.
It has been a lovely bright day, with a chilly breeze.

February is knocking at the door.
