Cambridge
Up early for us as we had to take the caravan to the garage to have the external temperature sensor replaced. It has been playing up for a couple of years and stopped working altogether last year
I was sorting out the next job on the organ yesterday and found a real big problem. The reservoir wouldn't fully open and it has a pressure spill valve in it. I panicked for a while as I couldn't see a solution. But after some thought and sleeping on it I had an idea. Today I put it into action, I stripped out the bottom section packed up the bearers by 12mm and extended the connecting by the same amount with brass tube. Put it all together again and it all works. PHEW well pleased.
We went and picked the caravan up just before lunch. The front jockey wheel on the caravan has a pneumatic tyre and its been going down for some time today it burst. I took it to the local tyre garage and they just didn't want to know. I had a good look online and found a national trailer seller had wheels complete with tyres for under twenty pounds and it looks as if it will fit. So I sent for it hope it works
On the way to the tyre shop I went over the Gogs hills with this view over Cambridge so stopped for a snap
Should be going to camera club this evening but don't feel like going out
Lovely sunny cool winter day
