The Marsh

This is a salt water marsh. Marsh's protect us from flooding during high tides. They are quite an attraction for beautiful birds and other wild life.
I've been busy of late and just caught this photo on my way to some friends. It was the end of the day and all I could see to photograph. I tried to capture a Egret but it was to far away and I did not have the right lens.
