A Clear Winter Morning
You can tell it was nippy by that sky can't you?
Mind you the ice scraped off the car a lot easier than I expected.
I had to do the scaping so that I could deliver the food donation I had collected from the superstore last night...and I had to drive carefully as most of what was in the back of the car was eggs. As far as I know none were broken.
On the way home we dropped off some stuff at the back door of the charity shop (there was no answer to my knocking) and went and bought some heavy(ish) duty rubbish bags.
Then there was more loft sorting done. I found evidence of there having been a damned squirrel in there. Once I have finished the clear-out some 'deterrent' will be put down.
Later there was a trip out to buy some new bedding .... and to drop off more stuff at the charity shop. I was glad that there was a reply to my knocking this time as there was another load of stuff had been dumped on top of the stuff I had left earlier. I was then able to make sure they knew which was mine - and more importantly, give them my details so they can claim extra in the way of 'Gift Aid' for any sales.
This evening there was a visit from Liz next door .... to give me a bottle of whisky! For no other reason that she had it in the house and neither of them like whisky and so knows I do. What a nice lady.
I am very glad to say that I was able to repay the kindness by giving her a load of paper craft material that I had kept aside for her (that being her craft of choice).
