Today's the day . . . . . . . . . .  to come home

It happened sometime in the middle of the night that electricity returned to our little group of houses.

We had a text from our neighbour across the road to say that he could see a light on upstairs in our house.  So, this morning we came home and plugged everything back in and switched everything on - wondering if all the bits of equipment etc would remember what they were supposed to do?

And I'm pleased to tell you that, so far, everything is behaving impeccably.  The house is slowly warming back up again - and it's almost as if nothing happened at all . . . . . . . !
