Blue Boy

A cold day with a biting wind but at least the sun shined brightly • We did a few errands including groceries so the plan is to hunker down for a few days and watch it snow! Over the next week several storms will be moving through • This afternoon we observed five mature eagles gathered together on the ice. One appeared to be eating while the others watched. After ten minutes or so one at a time flew off but all continued to circle that area of the ice. It was a beautiful sight! Unfortunately they were too far away to identify what was being eaten. Definitely not a fish, but perhaps a duck? :( • Such a terrible tragedy unfolding in DC following the collision of an airliner and a helicopter last night • Peace & Love
