Bangor ( County Down) had an open evening for the various art studios in the town. I went to a retrospective exhibition of prints and paper sculptures by Penny Brewill RE in the Seacourt Print Workshop. It was really interesting and the venue was previously a lovely bank, so there were vast spaces and high ceilings - perfect for displaying artwork!

The print shown above is called Fish-Tank and it was a fairly reasonable £150. However, the Ards Man had sent me off with the command “don’t buy any rubbish!” ringing in my ears. Now, I like this print and don’t count it as ‘rubbish’, but I know better than to buy artwork after such an exhortation! :-)
