Tulips

Once it warmed up I went outside with my book to watch birds and read.

I got a lot of reading done. Things started to cloud up and although the thermometer said it was still on the warm side, without the sunshine, it began to feel too cold to be outside and so I headed in.

These are the tulips in my January bulb basket and they are currently at that “perfect” stage.
