My student's little sister, Hayley, came inside during the lesson to use the bathroom - and then chased around the cats, and found a bag of Hershey miniatures, and did a little redecorating around the living room, all while S. and I were playing the piano. After the lesson, Dr. A came in to retrieve her daughters, who were rolling around like puppies. It was a bit of welcome chaos to take the mind off the greater national chaos. Both cats took immediate naps afterwards.
