Thursday: The Local

Having caught up with most of the things we needed to do in the house (other than some DIY and painting, which we weren’t going to tackle today), we indulged ourselves this afternoon by rewatching the movie ‘Nomadland’.  I find it so heartbreaking I wonder why we watch it but it’s precisely for that reason that we did rewatch it.  It remains an outstanding film.

Over to our local hostelry this evening - it always looks so welcoming on a wintery evening.
