Connecting….

….to Glasgow for more Celtic Connections festy.

On arrival at the hotel we bumped into Mairi and Kathryn from Drumbeg. They’d had a couple of warm-up wines so we joined them in the bar for a couple more. Bags dumped in our room, we headed to the Old Fruit Market to see TRIP play their set. It was splendid high energy stuff and great to see more Drumbegians at the venue too.

Back at our hotel bar, an unofficial club for artists performing in the festival, we had a really nice catch-up with some well kent faces from the north west. However, I met a Peat Bog Fairy in the gents loo and he wasn’t best pleased that I didn’t recognise him.
