I have had an at home day, interrupted by visits to a charity shop and the recycling centre.

The big job has been finishing what was started on Sunday with my SiL, sorting through J’s clothes and cleaning out wardrobes. The only thing remaining is a video call with a niece one evening next week - she loves J’s sense of style and her dresses, so we are going to have a fashion show. There are over 30 really lovely dresses, so I am going to show her them. My niece has a friend who uses Vinted a lot, so it might be that I can negotiate her selling those that remain, with money raised going to a charity.

Some clothes I am keeping, which is a sentimental thing to do - but it feels right.

Bit by bit I need to go through drawers and cupboards - and the loft. I’ve started, but there is some way to go.
