Back to normal
This is a Bromeliad, a very pretty house plant.
Without fail we kill house plants but we have had this one for a week and have, so far, failed to dispatch this one. However there probably will not be any more blips of this plant in the future.
The weather returned to normal today, damp, overcast and a bit chilly. I however boldly ignored the conditions and went to work in the garden. We have piles of bricks (recent blip) paving stones, Indian sandstone flags and general rubbish in the wrong place. Moving them is a task I have been putting off for quite some time. But not today. After less than three hors I recon I have shifted half, excluding the general rubbish category. Very slippery underfoot, stones wet and mucky and my lungs protested a bit but I achieved. Now knackered.
