Off to work again, and today the bus was extremely busy. I somehow managed to get a seat a couple if stops after getting on, just because I was in the right place at the right time.

I was in the office for about an hour, then had to head off to our other office in Leith for a ‘training’ day. It’s the first in person event like this that I have been to in over five years. The sessions were on, the best but for me was meeting up with colleagues in person, some of which I haven’t seen in the flesh since before covid struck.

It finished late afternoon, so a colleague and I jumped on the tram back to our office where we spent about an hour catching up.

Once home, we sorted out tea, and I then popped out for a short walk, before collapsing on the sofa. A highlight of my day was bumping into a colleague who was on her first day back after an extended period of sick leave. It was so nice to see her.

This map is etched on to an internal window in our office. There are a number of them. I couldn’t see the information sign that tells you about them, so will have to take a look the next time I am in that building.
