Gravel under the Track

My project is to bring my old model railway vehicles into service again.

Lacking the necessary space for a classical layout, I have decided to form a simple track over my (now lesser required) home office desk and adjacent book shelves.

It is my aim to use as many preexisting materials as possible, instead of buying new ones.

Gravel is made from craft sand, coloured with black and brown stains, and added wallpaper adhesive.

The next step will be to add vegetation to the embankments.
