Street Food

Not for us though as we had just been to McDonald's, first time for ages. We opted for table service, we like to do these things in style.

We've been on a mission to find a new dishwasher, but haven't really progressed much as we couldn't find the ones we were interested in on display anywhere.

The play last night was good. There were only 20 of us in the audience, seated at small tables around a central performance area. It was a story about relationships, tango dancing and environmental challenges. At the end the audience were invited to have a dance, a few did, but not us of course :-)

We were in the small studio while the main theatre was doing The Pirates Of Penzance. While we were waiting for the studio to open its doors a guy rushed in from the car park, carrying an instrument case, brass I would guess, asking how to get backstage as he was one of the musicians. They were starting in 5 minutes. I hope he made it in time.

In other news I had a difficult phone call with our (old) dentist this morning. I'd emailed them 10 days ago to say we had found a new dentist who actually worked all week and had appointments, and so were cancelling our plans. I got no response but yesterday we had emails saying the price was going up 13%.  I got nowhere with the receptionist and might have been a bit rude, and in the end I just hung up. I then managed to get in touch with the plan organiser and they were much more helpful. Everything is now resolved, I hope.
