Poor birds

A busy day for me.
I drove across to Inverurie in the morning, about 30 miles away.
I stopped off near Haddo House where I saw a couple of swans on the ice and the photo is one of them, the other is in the extra.
I met a friend for coffee and a pancake, then on to meet my other friend for a chat and dominoes ( it was two games each)
Lots to talk about including Trump ( can he get any worse!), religion, music, etc. Most enjoyable.
I was telling them that I saw Marianne Faithfull , who died yesterday, in Aberdeen as part of a pop package back in the sixties. She didn’t have the strongest of voices then and I seem to remember her not going down too well! Most of the audience wanted to see/hear the “beat” groups on the bill - The Yardbirds, The Kinks etc
