Down among the snowdrops
Hill Court Gardens in Warwick were our destination today. They are very close to the centre of Warwick and over the last couple of decades they have been saved from becoming a housing development and a good proportion of them have been restored to their former glory as detached gardens for a variety of business owners in the 18 and 1900s. Most of them contain fascinating (some listed) summer houses where the families used to go in their leisure time. They are important historically as places where local people spent their time. There weren’t as many snowdrops there as anticipated but we enjoyed ourselves
