Sunshine on the bay

It’s the last day of January and what lovely weather we have had. I left home wearing my warm jacket because it was a wee bit chilly but in Tobermory the Main Street was a sun trap and I was far too warm. The tide was well out and it seemed to concentrate the number of mooring buoys that are out of use for the winter. It will be a very different view come the sailing season.
I spent a very enjoyable time in Tobermory Chocolate chatting with a friend who is here for a couple of weeks. Afterwards I visited the hairdresser and a few shops for some essentials: Browns for a bottle of Harris gin, the Co-op for a couple of pizzas for the freezer, Tobermory Stores for some locally bred pork, and the pharmacy for a couple of new toothbrushes for Nick whose electric toothbrush has given up brushing.
Back home, B had finished installing the new heat pump and all was working well.
