Curling Practice

You might have thought from the thumbnail that we were making Grandson P do the housework today! (Although he does enjoy using his toy broom). But no, this was a lucky find for my blip today - a group of young folk undergoing Curling training. It was on a temporary outdoor ice rink at Wychwood Barns, a community centre and park here in Toronto. We walked past it after having fun with Granddog Oona at the adjacent dog park.

If you look closely (especially viewed large) you'll see that it was snowing gently at the time: it's been a little warmer today but "proper" freezing conditions will return tomorrow.
