Despite the Cold…

… Some plants seem to be thriving.

It’s been a funny Friday.
The Eldest Elderly One has been very agitated. The problem seems to be about ‘a gent proposing matrimony to some young lady and wanting my approval’… I was sympathetic (which seemed appropriate).

I worked my way through a months worth of washing and ironing. (There has been a bad neck, which prevented earlier attempts at any kind of laundry activity).

For a reason too complicated to explain we abandoned chip night in favour of a dish which contained suspiciously meaty mushrooms and potatoes confit (very tasty). The only concession to Friday has been a nod to a quite accurate wine forecast.

And, I forgot to take a photograph of anything whatsoever until I was left with no choice other than a plant or my ankle.

I am happy though.
