Family Outing

Starting the day off trying a new bakery is always a good start to the day! We had excellent coffee and croissants and will defiantly be going back. Then it was Carly's first official hike (extra) where we went from Echo Lake to the first reservoir of a chain of lakes, she did great! We had great views of a few 14ers (+14,000ft/4250m) but mainly had views of Mt. Blue Sky, featured in the entry. It was a snowy walk but microspikes, warm temperatures, and blue sky's kept us plenty comfortable. We finished the day at a brewery, as you do in Colorado, and now all three of us are struggling to stay awake.
