Veltheimia Capensis (Sand lily)

I love my garden for many reasons, but mainly because it is full of beautiful memories and special friends. A dear friend gave me a single bulb of this lily a few years ago and I popped it under this tree and covered it with compost. The dogs knocked off the first flower but since then it has thrived and now I have a whole clump of them. Each time they flower I am reminded of my special friendship.
