Sun rises

I couldn't resist the lure of a sunrise swim with K and C, even though it meant getting up in the dark, which was not something I was keen on doing (and defrosting the car). It was absolutely perfect and of course completely Baltic.... I have added a couple of extras, one highlighting that there was a little bit of swell to keep us honest, although nothing really significant.

I did pay a price for the swimming, as I found it really hard to get warm again during the entire day, no matter how much we heated the living room and despite heading out for lunch at Lorndogs with N and A (to sign a card for G and S) and to the supermarket (for stuff for lunch on Sunday). I was only finally warm again when we headed out for an evening chez G and S, who are sadly leaving Tain on Monday after a relatively brief sojourn in the north. However, we added another couple of people to our roster of "really interesting people who live in (or around) Tain". G and S are in fact moving to Musselburgh, so will be quite close to our southern branch office, so we hope to see them there.

I think that one reason I was cold was because I was quite tired on Friday, so I was very happy to fall into bed soon after 11pm, where happily we had remembered to put our hot water bottles before leaving the house.
