Oh Mothballs!

Today's been "interesting"...

..Things just don't seem to have gone to plan and/or worked out at all. Went to the shops to sort out an upgrade on my phone...

Their central upgrade computers were down... so I had to come back later, only to find out due to a friends & family discount I get a set amount off a phone only. This means to upgrade my current one (and stay with the brand I am happy with and have spare chargers for) I have to pay £50-£100. Lets just say I am loathe to spend over £30 on a phone... So that wasn't happening. And so I said just to update to the newer version of my price plan (to include international numbers on my minutes and texts, amongst other goodies). Their computers went down again...

Having got home, a little disappointed to not find any guests or any random texts from possible arrivals, I set to work on some revision assignments. The computer crashed.

I went to make some tea while it was restarting... and got reminded of the pile of dishes waiting for me. Dealt with a drying space's amount of them (the majority) and settled for tea and back to work (yay recovery and auto-saves). It died again...

So now I'm backing things up and keeping fingers crossed about that, leaving it to the boy to try am work computer (and maybe Monkey) magic on it tomorrow... It seems far too long away until I get to see him again :o( It'll be worse, no doubt, when I go down South for a month or so! Incidentally, this is only 2 days and I feel like my intestines ate in a blender...

As far as pictures go I seem to be taking a few "insects on plants" recently. This one was chosen for today due to a mental association I have with butterflies (even if this is a moth) that makes me smile. So it's mostly to cheer me the f--k up!
