Chorus Score for Jonathan Dove's Uprising

Jonathan Dove has composed the Opera "Uprising" to the libretto of April De Angelis. "Uprising" looks at the climate emergency through the eyes of those whom it will affect the most

This opera is to be premiered at Glyndebourne from 28 February 2025 to 2 March 2025, followed by a  performance at Saffron Walden two weeks later.

The Scottish premiere takes place at the Usher Hall in Edinburgh on 28 March 2025. The following evening, "Uprising" is to be performed at the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall. The Scottish performances are by the RSNO, RSNO Youth Chorus, RSNO Chorus and RSNO Glasgow Chorus Academy.
