Dark Day

Early afternoon I travelled to my eldest son's in Cwmbran (South Wales, UK) to watch the Leeds United v Cardiff City FC match on tv, taking a scenic detour through Mamhilad near Pontypool. I stopped at the bridge over The Monmouthshire to Brecon canal where there was lovely reflections and took the blipfoto.

It was a dark day for Cardiff who were thrashed 7-0 by Leeds who are top of the table and running away with the Championship title. The only good thing is teams around Cardiff also lost so we didn't slip back in to the relegation zone!

We're off out tonight with our friends and neighbours for a cheap and cheerful meal in Ross on Wye. I need a drink!
