Went to Lincoln for the day with Ji. It’s an hour train journey from Nottingham. We had coffee when we arrived ( good coffee but the room was cold) and then browsed in a couple of shops where I bought a grey Ugg teddy bear coat with 50% off. I decided to wear it for the rest of the day and leave my other coat in the shop to be collected later.
We then decided to walk up Steep Hill to the castle and cathedral. There were lots of interesting shops on the way up and so our progress was slow ! I bought two pairs of trousers and a glass wall hanging and Ji bought two pictures. We stopped for some lunch at an Italian restaurant- okay but won’t be rushing back! We looked around the cathedral- stunning building - but decided to give the castle a miss. Caught the 3.30 train and arrived home just in time for the cats’ tea. Had a very nice day.
