Waiting

Is what my court work mainly consists of.

Forget the court room drama, speeches, emotions, resolutions and all the interesting stuff.

Most of the time I sit and wait.

At least in High Court I have these old Advocates' boxes to look at... (Advocates in Scottish legal system are senior lawyers who are allowed to represent people in High Court cases, they used to use these boxes for all the incoming documents and mail.)
