Imbolg…St. Brigids Day..

The Feast Day of our Warrior Saint…and the symbol of all things renewed and reborn…the official start of Spring..
This is St. Brigids Cross….and I can’t ever remember not having one displayed in the house….its legend is that it wards off and protects your house from fire.
We also have a new Bank Holiday on Monday to honour female patron saint.
Brigid means a great deal to us here in County Kildare..!
