Found

A snake skin Jerry found just inside the crawl space under the house. My brain said where is the snake??!!

A lizard showed up sunning today. Critters know when is a good time to come out of winter sleep.

It rained during the night so raindrops were all over the camellia blooms. So many buds have opened with the warmer weather. Had to get another drop on the spiderwort leaf.

Today I cleaned leaves out of the flower beds and added new potting soil in three beds. The daffodils, snowdrops and a couple of other things are poking up. Hoping the organic soil with mushroom compost will help the blooming.

We also pulled up old azalea bushes by the front porch that were looking very bad. Jerry used a big chain and his truck to get them out by the roots. I only have two bushes next to the front porch now but we may be pulling those out after they bloom. These plants were over 25 years old. Trying to decide what to put in the space. Something that does not need extra care and stay green in winter. Plus heat and drought resistant.

My body is saying I might have used muscles that had not been used for a while.
