Chilltastic

It was a few degrees warmer than Redbrook in the Quays this morning….a tropical 5°. It was tough, it was breathtaking (literally) and it was brilliant. I swam with Victoria and Dawn and we were in for about fifteen minutes….that was enough! Dave had the brazier lit which was lovely. I do like the atmosphere at the polar swims as everyone is so supporting and we all ‘suffer’ together lol. It isn’t anywhere as busy as the summer swims, for some reason, so we all chat as we shiver round the fire.

I’m off to Redbrook in the morning for my last swim before the International Polish Winter Championships…eeeek!
