How do you like your cuppa?

Early appointment in town this morning at the hair dresser’s. For many many years I’ve just had a pretty standard cut and blow dry, or sometimes just a dry cut. But for some reason I decided this time to have a very soft perm, just to put a bit of bounce in.
So when Sally asked if I’d like a cuppa, I thought why not. I’m just going to be sitting for a while doing nothing. And when asked ‘how do you like your cuppa’ I replied as always - quite strong please and not much milk.

Well, not only was the tea just right, I really liked the cup and saucer it was served in! Then we all had a good laugh about the different descriptions for tea, and decided that ‘builders’ tea conjures up all sorts of silly visions :-)

So that’s my unexpected bit of silliness for today, hopefully qualifying for Silly Saturday. I shall check out all the other silly blips in the next couple of days.

Then I called into the charity shop for one or two bits and then home.

Video chat with Nicoiseannie this afternoon which was lovely, and then out for dinner this evening with Kev and Jean. They took us to their favourite (and very busy) Italian restaurant in Middlesbrough and the food was excellent. A good evening.
