A local farm to table stand is closing. Bernard’s Farms, close to us, is selling all manner of produce, fruit, hazelnuts, handmade berry jams and syrup, an accurate taste of the deliciousness of northwestern Oregon. We came home with raspberry/cayenne jam, rosemary infused sea salt, and cranberry granola. Beautiful barn, 101 years old, built in 1924, and the farm stand business had been open since 1975, 50 years. I had several Bernard kids in my classes back in the day. Sad to see an institution disappear.
