Looking Out the Window

We haven’t had a good rainy day in so long that I’ve forgotten what it feels like. Every once in awhile I look up from my big chair by the front window and watch the drops hit the pavement. It came down pretty hard for most of the day, and the sky stayed thick and gray. They say it will be like this for several days.
