Penshaw Monument

A first trip to Herrington Country parkrun for me, this morning. Run in the shadow of the Penshaw Monument (with no sign of the Lambton Worm, thankfully), I was very pleased with my time of 23:38
Meanwhile, just down the road, at South Shields parkrun (an easier course ;) ) a certain Mr S Cram could only manage 24:51 for his first parkrun. Maybe he'll progress with training.
