Percy from Waiheke Island

I went to a wedding on Waiheke Island many years ago and brought back Percy the pukeko.   He was sitting on a shelf and I could see he had the wanderlust and wanted to cross the ditch.  He is made from recycled bits and pieces and now sits on a mantelpiece.

I had intended to take Buzz out for a spin, I haven't had him out for a long time but I don't know why but I am falling asleep and am going to have an early night and didn't feel like going anywhere.

Back home after an uneventful trip home.  Just the sort of trip I like.
