LTT

The light is poor this morning so I've had to work hard (maybe too hard?) to bring out the colours on this long tailed tit (one of a big flock). It's not great but they are so sweet. The kestrel was around too. 

My session yesterday morning went well. People are full of great ideas. The follow through is trickier. We really enjoyed our evening meal - such a treat. We had the tasting menu with paired wine courtesy of our son and his partner. I'm sure the guy serving our food and explaining all about it thought I was irredeemably oafish for asking to swap my dessert wine for a tiny glass of red but the customer is always right (even if she isn't). I don't enjoy a sweet wine, even one carefully chosen to complement the dessert. But I do enjoy a big beefy red which is what I had. Lovely! 

We're going to see A Complete Unknown this afternoon. I'm not a great cinema goer but there have been so many good reviews that I'm convinced. To my surprise our daughter is keen to see it too so she'll join us and then again later for a meal. We'll also have a video call with my sister to round off Sunday.
